Last day of term!

To our amazing Year 6 children, We are so proud of you. This week, all the Year 6 teachers agreed that it was impossible to choose any certificate winners due to the wonderful attitude and approach from every child in Year 6.

Good attendance is vital in helping children achieve their best in school. We would like to remind families that holidays during term time will not be authorised unless there are exceptional circumstances. Even a few days away from school can have a significant impact on children’s learning, routines and progress, as important lessons and experiences cannot always be repeated.

Last term, year 3 and 4 and other schools across the UK took part in English National Opera's Finish This programme. A composer who had started an opera of music called Blue, Red, Yellow. Classes and schools had to come up with a further colour as well as a composition to finish the piece of music. Damson Class chose the colour gold and put together a composition.

Nursery have been learning about farm animals, they looked at the different farm animals and named them. They then made the sound of each animal.
