New Horizons Children's Academy is an Ofsted 'Good' School

The report, which you can read via the button below highlighted the strength in teaching in learning and the positivity and respect for otherselves and each other from pupils and staff alike:

  • 'Children make good progress and achieve well in the early years due to effective teaching, especially in the Reception classes.' 
  • 'Pupils enjoy coming to school and being with their friends. As a result, the vast majority of pupils attend school 'regularly. '
  • 'Behaviour is good. Pupils get along with each other well.'

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills, which inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

School Performance Tables are published by the Secretary of State on the Department for Education’s website. The Tables give information on the achievement and attainment of pupils and include information on finance, absence, school workforce and the most recent Ofsted reports.

The attainment and progress data in the Tables is designed to be considered alongside other sources of information such as Ofsted reports and school prospectuses.
