Below is an overview of the learning that will take place termly:
Year 6 have PE twice per week, on a Monday and Wednesday. The children’s PE kit is to be bought in at the start of the term and will remain in school for the duration of the term. PE Kits will be sent home at the daily following their session. Earrings are to be taken out on the day your child has PE.

Reading in Year 6
This year, we aim to foster a love of reading while building more advanced comprehension skills. Children will explore a wide variety of texts—from classic novels to modern poetry—and learn to:
Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling in Year 6 (GPAS)
Pupils will expand their command of grammar and punctuation to improve their writing. Key areas include:

Homework in Year 6
Daily Reading
We encourage all children to read at home daily and a note to be written in their reading record book. If the schoolbook has been completed, then please read and share any other books or comics that you have at home. These can also be record in the reading record and count towards the number of daily reads.
